In the western part of the country there are places that are very windy. In these places, it can be dangerous to be on the move while the fierce winds are blowing. But then the calm comes after the storm.
Under Hafnarfjall in Borgarfjordur, winds can be very strong and unpredictable. Cars have drifted out of the road and once we lost windscreen that was sucked out due to pressure when the wind comes full speed down the gills in the mountain.
But on a beautiful winter mornings like this one, calm states dominate and all the beauty that comes with watching the Borgarfjordur from the Borgarnes Bridge at sunrise.
