Northern Iceland is not the only part of Iceland where you will experience solitude, the vast and untouched nature of Iceland. You can experience the same in all parts of Iceland with few exceptions such as near Reykjavik, Gullfoss Waterfalls and Geyser.
When you drive along the ring road and on the Westfjords way you will find endless fjords, coves and beaches that you will have entirely for yourself. If you head towards the hills and the mountains it is even easier to find solitude while hiking and enjoying the vastness of Iceland.
