Same day six years ago. Lots of snow is still in the mountains and the bright colors of spring are at play just like today.
The news from this day is so ordinary compared to what is happening in the world today. The problems were easier to fix obviously. Everything seemed more manageable back then. Lots of positive things were going on in Iceland. It was the beginning of the travel boom and an era of low unemployment rate.
There are things that have not changed and you see that when you look at this picture. The spring is very similar to what it was back then. The fjords and the mountains are still the same and the blue skies are as beautiful as back then. These are the appreciated constants in a dramatically changing world.
