Hiking Along the Cliffs of Asbyrgi

Asbyrgi is one of Iceland’s most exciting phenomena. Carved into the landscape by enormous glacier flood thousands of years ago.

It takes approximately 2-3 hours to walk along the cliffs and it is worth every minute. Being in the shadows of steep cliffs on one side and with beautiful vegetation on the other.

And right there in the middle is a giant self standing rock rising magnificently 100 meters up in the air.

If you come to the north or east of Iceland this is the place you have to visit.
