The black sands on Iceland’s shores have their charm. The first thing that comes to mind is not lying flat and enjoying life, but they are adventurous to explore.
This black sand is on the shore in Öxarfjörður in the North-East of Iceland. It looks like someone is trying to grow plants in the sand. Anyway, some vehicles or machines have marked this funny pattern in the sand.
This black sand will not be remembered for big scary waves like the black sand shore at Reynisfjara. Maybe I should have explored it more and see what it hides in addition to the few pieces of driftwood.
