The midnight sun is sometimes out of this world in Iceland. Just like that midnight a few days ago.
Watching the sun slowly disappear behind the horizon is food for the soul. It is glorious how the blue sky and few clouds can light up in many shades of red that makes the ocean become part of the spectacle. If you are feeling bad or sad it will lift you up and make you think of how magnificent nature is in all its glory.
That peaceful moment had its quirks. The arctic tern was busy making noise preparing its short stay in the north. But even the noisy arctic tern could not disrupt that midnight moment with the golden midnight sun.
