After a few days of cold wind blowing from north east the sun came through and the partly blue skies that was just enough to make this afternoon such a visual delight.
When the sun fell behind the mountains in the afternoon, a brand new visual spectacle appeared on the fjord, on the mountains and in the sky.
The days are getting shorter and the darkest time of the year is ahead of us, but the snow is here making the landscape brighter even though it is yet to cover the mountains entirely. The good thing is that it starts as a typical winter in the Westfjords and from global warming perspective that is good news.
