Once upon a time I was walking in Hallormsstadaskogur near Egilsstadir in the Eastfjords and looked up and saw this nest hanging over me.
I have always enjoyed this picture because it shows a whole world of its own that is mostly hidden and unknown by humans.
So I decided to find out what it looks like and here is an example of hornet’s nest on the inside.
