The western part of Iceland is incredibly interesting, with natural pearls and connections to Iceland’s history dating back to its settlement. Borgarfjordur and the Snaefellsnes peninsula are areas that can be explored for several days by traveling and exploring, but you will never see everything.

Borgarnes is one of Iceland’s most beautiful towns, with the famous Settlement Center exhibition commemorating the town’s connection to the Icelandic sagas. Another remarkable area is the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The national park Snaefellsjokull encompasses the entire peninsula, including the glacier.

Last but not least, Thingvellir is located in the country’s west. If you only visit Iceland once, you must go to Thingvellir. We believe that seeing is believing, and we are excited to continue our explorations in Iceland’s west.
