The Arctic Coast Way is a fascinating route even in bad weather. Yes, we got chilly weather most of the time, but that’s ok.
We visited the village of Skagaströnd and Kopasker for the first time. Beautiful fishing villages with necessary facilities for travellers.
However, there was another village that really blew our mind away in more than one way. The village is Raufarhöfn. You get a feeling when you arrive that this is the village at the end of the road.
The really mind blowing thing is that locals have created large stone structures above the village. They call it the Arctic Henge. It is a magical place. A must visit if you are on the Arctic Coast Way.
