Thinking About Summer In The Midst Of Fierce Winter Storm

The weather in Iceland has been bad to say the least. If fierce bad weather and lots of snow is an indicator of global warming then it is probably the case, but actually it is a typical bad Icelandic winter weather.

The wind and the snow makes you think about the summer with a warm heart. That day around the lake near Husavik was hot with soft cooling breeze from the ocean and the sun was shining.

The lake is called Botnsvatn. A walk around the lake takes a couple of hours and ends with a noisy greeting from the Arctic terns.
