The weather today made the landscape mystique. Occasionally the sky became visible in between gray clouds that held the next batch of snow.
It snowed straight down. One can say the Christmas snow came a few days too late.
The small pier is one of our favorite places in Isafjordur. You have a view of the town and all the mountains around it. Add to it the stillness on the fjord and you have food for the soul.
There is no better way to say goodbye to the daylight and welcome the evening in the middle of the day.
