Few years ago I noticed these two crosses tilting at a church in Seydisfjordur in the Westfjords area. Only one has a name on it.
I do not know if the crosses are tilted at the wall of the church because the graves are unknown. Maybe bad weather dislocated the crosses and they ended their journey there.
As I mentioned before there is only name. I searched for it in the Islendingabok genealogy database and got no result. It looks like this person is unknown.
Another funny thing is this person is from a farm that has the same name as my ancestors’ farm and is indeed in a nearby fjord.
