Raven Feast On Shore

The photo shows brutal survival. The raven is eating a mouse while the other is watching the feast. The photo also shows nature in its simplest  form.

The raven is common in Iceland and in the Westfjords they are very visible in towns and villages where they coexist with us, the humans.

Many enjoy having the ravens around all year despite their intense sound and rooftop noises. Others are not so fond of the ravens as they can easily distribute litter searching for food in places like the town square in Isafjordur.

We are raven fans. We enjoy having them around and watching them enjoy life while surviving harsh environments; just like we do.
