Extraordinary August Days In Isafjordur Town

The summer has almost passed and autumn is near. The weather in  August in the Westfjords has been extraordinary.

The stillness has prevailed longer than usual and frequently the temperature reaches 20 degrees or more which is very unusual.

Sometimes there has been haze in the air preventing the sky from being crystal blue. This is very unusual in the Westfjords. Probably it is because of the eruption on Reykjanes.

Anyhow it does not bother me as the days have been absolutely fantastic and we have enjoyed every day to its fullest hiking around and above our beautiful hometown.

Here is a clip from one of these extraordinary August days.
